Masala macaroni is a delicious and mouth watering pasta recipe, cooked in Indian style with spices. Macaroni can be eaten at any time of the day, whether it is a light brunch, lunch, or even a quick dinner. Macaroni is one of those dishes which is called continental but with a little twist of Indian taste we can enjoy the dish as Masala Macaroni or Desi Macaroni. To Make Macaroni, Macaroni is first boiled with salt and then macaroni is cooked with tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger and spices. This recipe is a true fusion recipe of Italian macaroni pasta incorporated with Indian spicy flavors.

Masala Macaroni Ingredients
Ingredients
Macaroni | 2 Cup | Ginger Finely Chopped | 2 Teaspoon |
Garlic Finely Chopped | 2 Teaspoon | Green Chilli Finely Chopped | 2 |
Onion finely Chopped | 1 Large | Tomatoes | 3 Medium |
Finely Chopped Cabbage | 2 Tablespoon | Finely Chopped Carrot | 2 Tablespoon |
Finely Chopped Beans | 2 Tablespoon | Black Paper Powder | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Pizza Seasoning Or Mixed Herbs | 1/2 Teaspoon | Red Chilli Sauce | 1 Teaspoon or As Per Taste |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon or As Per Taste + For Boiling | Cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves | 3 - 4 Tablespoon | Tomato Sauce | 2 - 3 Tablespoon |

Direction To Make
Boiling Macaroni
- Boil 5 cups of water in a large vessel over high heat.
- When it starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium and add 1 teaspoon of salt to it. Add macaroni to it and boil until the macaroni becomes soft.
Tempering Macaroni
- Meanwhile the macaroni is boiling, make tomato paste / puree in the grinder and keep aside.
- When the macaroni becomes soft, turn off the heat and transfer the boiled macaroni to a sieve and drain all the water. Transfer the macaroni to a plate and keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat. When the ghee gets hot, add cumin seeds and fry for 10 seconds while stirring. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies to it and fry for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Stir continuously and add finely chopped onions and fry for a minute. Now add 1/2 teaspoon salt (as per your taste), pizza seasoning and black paper, mix it well and fry for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Add finely chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots and beans) and fry again for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now add red chilli sauce to it and mix well.
- Add tomato paste and fry again for 2 minutes while stirring. Add tomato ketchup and fry again for 2 minutes while stirring. It's Time to add coriander leaves and mix well. Add mozzarella cheese and mix well. fry it while stirring till the cheese melt and mix well. It will take about 2 minutes.
- Add boiled macaroni and mix well. If it is too thick then add 2 tablespoons of water to it. Boil it for one minute and turn off the heat.
- Transfer the macaroni to a plate and garnish with coriander leaves and grated mozzarella cheese.
- Cheese masala macaroni is ready. Enjoy this delicious dish with your family.
